America's Blame Game

I have read reports in the news over the past couple years and only one thing remains constant. The LAW of the BLAME GAME. You can name the events and disasters from: Hurricane Katrina, 9/11, The BP Oil Spill, and many many others. Why is it that our country and our leaders always blame someone for something horrible happening. "9/11 wouldn't have happened if they did their job... Someone Take some responsibility! Hurricane Katrina was, and is the biggest example of this. A Hurricane hits the coast, destroys almost everything, and someone had to get blamed for it. FEMA. Although FEMA did some egregious things, and a lot of inaction cost lives, but face it, it happened, it's a natural disaster. I'm fed up with people believing that they are the victims all the time, and that someone has to pay. Our society is, and has been on a downward spiral, socially, spiritually, economically, and politically over the past few years. The thing that really gets me is that it's never "my fault." Did the national weather service not give ample time for people to get out with their very firm warnings of what might happen. Look, shit happens, but it's not always preventable, and not always someone's fault. What we really need to look at is how we can gather together for the common good and overcome these problems. Stop Blaming and start taking action
